Homemade Maple Breakfast Sausage Patties Recipe

Tara Klippert
This homemade maple breakfast sausage recipe is quick and easy to make. It also contains a lot more nutritious and clean ingredients, as opposed to store-bought breakfast sausages that can contain many preservatives and fillers and are a lot more processed.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add your raw ground pork.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl.
  • With clean hands, mix up the ground pork and seasonings until everything is mixed together thoroughly.
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Form the ground pork mixture into 7 sausage patties (very similar as you would a burger patty) and place on the lined baking sheet spaced apart. 7 patties is a large batch so if you're not going to eat all of them freeze the extra patties in an airtight container. Keep the patties from freezing together by separating them with wax paper. The frozen patties will keep for a few months.
  • Bake your sausage patties at 400°F for 25 minutes or until cooked through. Alternatively, you can cook them using a frying pan on medium heat.
  • Serve and enjoy.
