Maple breakfast sausage recipe (oven baked)
This homemade maple breakfast sausage recipe is quick and easy to make. It also contains a lot more nutritious and clean ingredients, as opposed to store-bought breakfast sausages that can contain many preservatives and fillers and are a lot more processed.
Large mixing bowl
2 pounds ground pork ½ tablespoons dry sage 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon marjoram 1 pinch ground cloves 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 400°F
In a large mixing bowl, add your raw ground pork.
Measure out and add all the remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl.
With clean hands, mix up the ground pork and seasonings until everything is mixed together thoroughly.
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Form the ground pork mixture into 7 sausage patties (very similar as you would a burger patty) and place on the lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
Bake your sausage patties at 400°F for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve and enjoy.
