Are you wondering what the best diet for candida overgrowth is?
In this video I will share:
- what the best diet for candida overgrowth is
- how it helped me heal from living in mould, lots of antibiotic exposure and years of a high sugar diet
- how you can implement it and stay on track
My name is Tara Klippert and I am a Registered Health and Nutrition Counselor, and owner of Foods and Feels Wellness. After years of dealing with chronic yeast infections, I lived in a house with black mould and that is when candida overgrowth really took a toll on my health. That is when I found the candida diet. Through the candida diet, I was able to heal from mould exposure, get rid of rashes and allergies, hives and a swollen face.
In this video, I also talk about:

How to stay on track with the candida diet
It can feel overwhelming when you are first getting started with the candida diet. But I promise you that there are lots of super delicious and healthy recipes that will help you stay on track and meet your health goals.
My first recommendation is to make sure that you clear out your cupboards and fridge of all the foods that may tempt you throughout your candida diet. Even if you just put them in the shed for in a box in the closet, you will think yourself for it.
My next recommendation is to have a meal plan and to do meal preparation.
Having a meal plan and recipes helps to:
✔ Reduce the amount of time you need to spend searching for recipes that fit your health goals
✔ Takes the thinking out of what you are going to eat and when
✔ Gives you confidence that you are getting the appropriate amount of protein, carbohydrates, and good-quality fats as well as all the essential nutrients
Doing weekly meal preparation helps to:
✔ Keep you on track when you are busy and don’t have time to prepare your meals for a day
✔ Save you time during the week so you can spend it doing what you want instead of being in the kitchen
✔ Reduce the temptation of eating out or grabbing something unhealthy
